In connection with the celebration of  the 125th anniversary of the Swedish Inventors’ Association, the prestigious International Inventors Award will be presented. Three scholarships worth 300,000, 100,000 and 50,000 Swedish crowns respectively will be awarded to the inventors of the best inventions in the areas of climate, energy and environment.

The prizes are provided by the Agne Johansson Memorial Fund. The prize ceremony will take place during National Inventors' Day on 5 October at the Inventions for the Future trade fair at the Scandinavian Technical Fair.

The jury for the awards will will be made up of a collaboration from the Swedish Inventors' Association, the Agne Johansson Memorial Fund and the International Federation of Inventors Associations (IFIA). Every member organisation of the IFIA is entitled to nominate one entry for the International Inventors Award. Inventors who wish to participate in the competition should hand in their applications to their respective national IFIA organisations.
